Church Cruise 2017

We did not have enough interest in a 2017 cruise.  Perhaps we will check again in a couple more years.

The Burns Flat Cumberland Presbyterian Church is asking its members who are interested to talk with Kendra Walker.  We will cruise between Sundays next May out of Galveston.  We will leave sometime on the afternoon or evening of 28 May and be back in Burns Flat the next Saturday evening.  The total cost will be determined by the number going, transportation arrangements, and the type of room that you want.  If you want to go with the very basic package, plan to spend about $600 per person.  This includes all meals, tea and lemonade for drinks, and entertainment.  You will want some cash for souvenirs at the two ports and any extras that you buy onboard.  Soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and specialty meals are extra but you can have a great affordable cruise without spending money on any of these.

We really need to see who is committed to going by early November so we can be assured of getting everyone onboard and making transportation arrangements.

We recommend that everyone also have a passport.  You may be able to cruise using only your birth certificate, but a passport is always better.  The waiting time on a passport is about 2 months.

Think about this, pray about this, and check your finances.  It is not for everybody, but some already know what a great time cruising can be.
